Born in San Diego in 2007, The Cookie Sandwich Company is the brainchild of proud parents Jennifer (the baker) and Rick Daximillion (the eater). It all started years ago when we filled the tummies of our friends and family with our creative concoctions. All of a sudden, word quickly spread and we began receiving requests from complete strangers. What started as a playful passion turned into a real life changing decision. To turn our passion into a business was not an easy one since Jen was four weeks pregnant with our son Kingston. As demand grew so did her belly! Before we knew it we were entrepreneurs — a dream come true.
In 2014, after some life changing events we decided to exit at the top and take the lessons from running this amazing company with us to pursue other passions, like traveling the world. Jen opened a yoga studio and Rick co-owned a few antique/consignment stores and wrote a book called Memoirs of Fatherhood. Perhaps Kingston, someday, will kickstart The Cookie Sandwich Co.
